Camarilla UK: Newcastle

A summary of the September gathering of Newcastle's Kindred.

With the new management of the domain now fully in power and Arcus Masterton out of the picture, everyone waited with baited breath to see how they would shape up. This was put to the test pretty quickly as a kindred guilty of a Masquerade breach presented himself to the court and begged for aid. Rather than a summary execution as was expected the gentleman was confined whilst the council held session.

During this time the visions that have been plaguing the court over the past few months once again began to make their presence felt. Once again kindred had flashes of children undergoing psychological conditioning to perform horrendous acts or suffer electrocution. Those who witnessed the event seemed deeply concerned and focusing on more mundane matters became increasingly difficult.

The council reached its verdict and gave the man one month to clean up his own mess before they were forced to do it and kill him as and example. He was directed to seek aid in exchange for boons and prove his worth. He left shortly afterwards without speaking to anyone else.

A member of the Brotherhood of Pangau again turned up and this time finally managed to secure a meeting with Alexander Gideon. The two chatted for some time both of them rather agitated and exasperated at the other ones comments. Finally the two reached some kind of agreement and the Brotherhood representative left shortly afterwards. When asked, Mr. Gideon simply said that the matter of the tiles was being dealt with and the whole affair would be settled very soon.

The evening climaxed with a collective vision of the experiment involving the children being terminated by the execution of the test subjects. During the vision it was reviled that the children had been given some kind of implant rendering them mildly psychic, which would explain the intrusive visions of the last few months. Further test subjects were also ordered meaning this is not a problem that is likely to go away soon.

Whilst the court disbanded and went on their way, Alexander Gideon found that someone had stolen his beloved long sword. So despite some answers the evening posed yet more questions.
