A summary of the January gathering of Newcastle's Kindred.

The evening started like any other with the kindred turning up despite the air of impending doom to broker politics in the court of the ever-absent Prince Wodenson. Despite the affairs of last month Vincent maintained his grip on the court with the assistance of Alexander and the pair welcomed an envoy from Sunderland to try and smooth over any ill will. Unfortunately, that representative was Adrian Hester who still held a grudge against the city and in particular it’s Sheriff. However, other than harass a few people and make some threats against Mr. McKay he did little else than confirm he was the forerunner to take over the neighbouring domain.

Some time later a member of the elusive Rune Casters appeared at the Elysium seeking an audience with those in power. Rather surprisingly this request was granted and the mortal spent some time conversing with kindred on a number of subjects. There was some offer concerning the exchange of a relic for some unknown favour, but the details were made known only to those in the know.

Shortly after the Rune Casters departure the Primogen took the bold step of announcing the removal of the Princes Harpy, Karla van Heerden, due to her less than reserved behaviour over recent months. This combined with her reported inefficiency in the position emboldened Mr. Black and Mr. Gideon to replace her with Rose Freeman, a close friend of Mr. Blacks.

Understandably Ms. Van Heerden was outraged and there was much heated discussion before she stormed from court saying she would take her business elsewhere. As soon as the ensuing silence began to end people started to depart from the court and the meeting soon grew to a close.
